Bailey Nelson is a Photographer & Videographer. Learning his way through travel experiences and creative pursuits, his eye is keen on capturing a moment and a feeling. Being self-taught, Bailey has learned through his own learning curve and honing skills along the way. The love for travel is a top priority, but also wants to bring that love home; capturing the beauty we have here in the Driftless Region.

Bailey has learned the world of business and entrepreneurship by stepping up to the plate and doing what it takes to take care of his people, and to create a quality product and service. Founding and creating Pearl Street Gallery is his way of serving the community in creating a space for inspiration & beutifying the area we get to call home.

"As a young kid, I always enjoyed creating things- doing things as I saw fit. I never imagined to be in this position to show my work and to create businesses around what I love to do. It is still very surreal to me, but I really do believe in what I am doing, I think our community needs this. People love our area, they love where they are from, and they love art! I am very passionate about storytelling, creating a feeling through a photo or a video. I think we all can do well in being our own authentic self and express what we feel proudly. I appreciate you being here."

Leithold Music has been a family owned music store in La Crosse, Wisconsin since 1888. The historic building and roots stand tall in the City of La Crosse. With views of the Mississippi River in the background, the character of what this city is built on, grows forward.

THE EYE OF AN ELEPHANT
Elephants are powerful beings that symbolize luck, prosperity, wisdom, long life, and vitality. In some cultures, the eye of an elephant is used to ward off the evil eye and holds a deep meaning of connection. Through traveling northern Thailand, I got the feeling of connecting to old wisdom. As I look into the elephants eye, it paralyzes the soul into a deeper dimension.

QUEEN VOYAGE
As she paddles through the Mississippi, the Queen heads towards La Crescent, MN. entering through one of the last swing bridges in the Country. To avoid redirection of the railway, this swing bridge opens and closes to allow traffic through the river without disruption. Originally constructed in 1876, the bridge holds a deep history amongst the area bridging the Black River to French Island.

MISSISSIPPI RIVER BRIDGE
The Mississippi River Bridge is a combination of two individual bridges which are also known as the Cass Street Bridge and the Cameron Avenue Bridge, as well as the Big Blue Bridges. The Cass Street Bridge originally opened Sept. 23, 1939. The bluffs in the ditant background, and the sun starts to settle behind them.
