This uniquely rare photograph captures a Peregrine Falcon rapidly approaching a drone, before deciding not to attack at the last second. Originally, the point of the shoot was to capture downtown La Crosse at sunset, when I noticed something abnormal on my live view from the drone. Unaware of what was approaching, I watched for a moment before realizing this "thing" (not knowing it was a bird at the time) was coming directly for the drone. It scared me for a moment and I tense up, accidentally clicking the capture button on my controller. I quickly landed the drone and called it a day, not even realizing until later in the evening that I caught one of the most insane photos by complete accident.
